The Primal Movement WORKS! system currently consist of two courses, Primal Foundations and Primal Pilates, with a third — Primal Strength — launching in 2018.

 Primal Foundations  Primal Foundations introduces you to the unique systems used throughout all PMW courses. In addition to learning about motor development, you’ll become familiar with preparatory movements while deconstructing the different levels of Movement Experiences. These components are the cornerstones for Primal Pilates and Primal Strength, which will build in complexity and intensity. Primal Foundations is the prerequisite for all other Primal Movement WORKS! courses.

Primal Foundations

Primal Foundations introduces you to the unique systems used throughout all PMW courses. Building on your understanding of natural movement, we’ll go beyond the standard Pilates repertoire into advanced programming, with topics including fascial health and the key elements of Primal Movement WORKS!, specifically travels and transitions. After taking this course, you’ll be equipped to help your clients unlock neuromuscular patterns and find movement opportunities.

Primal Pilates is the second phase of our educational program, and it’s created exclusively for the Pilates teacher. In this course, you’ll discover how Primal Movement WORKS! can be a higher intensity strength and conditioning workout with minimal equipment needs. In Primal Strength, we’ll use the skills mastered in Primal Foundations to increase intensity with bodyweight exercises and external resistance. Take your clients’ practice anywhere—the gym, home, outside, or on the road.
